Joseph Stalin was born on December 21, 1879 his original name was Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili, later he change his name to Stalin which mean't Man Of Steel. Before Stalin took over the Soviet Union he was a secretary general of the Communist Party in 1922. Totalitarianism is a state that regulates every public and private behavior.Governmen have control of every aspect of the citizens life. Joseph Stalin took over the Soviet Union at 1924 because of the death of Vladimir Lenin.Lenin died 3 years after he took control of Russia .Jose stalin ruled russia for 25 years Joseph Stalin was in charge of the Police during the peak of the Cold War. During Joseph Stalin's time he forced collectivisation on agriculture which cost millions of lives. The Great Purge related to several campaigns such as the political repression, and the persecution in the Soviet Union which was lead by Joseph Stalin during the 1930's.

Doctor Zhivago movie was about the Russian Revolution and how the Russians was under communism during the Russian Revolution.
The Russian Revolution was caused by a struggle of violence and both the anti-governement and the undirected swept through vast areas of the Russian Empire. The Russian Empire also brought people to get what they want from the Czar . In December 1914 the people fought for what they wanted that was known as Bloody Sunday. When Dr. Zhivagogot came back to Moscow he saw that a lot of people are living in his house and he didnt know why.And then he realized this is because of the communism and government own everything .

World War I was know as The First Great War The Great WarWolrd War I started in 1914 and did not end until 1918. The war was between the Allies who were, France, Britian, Russia, Italy, The United States, Romania, Greece, Serbia, and Japan. They fought against, Germany, Austria-Hungary, Turkey, and Bulgaria. The Central Power who were Germany, Austria-Hungary, Turkey, and Bulgaria .This was started because of nationalism and assassination of Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo. Militarism also caused the war. Militarism was when the hostile camps builded up strong military armies during the years before the war. Frenx Ferdinand was assasinated by a Serbian nationalist belonging to an organization known as the Black Hand. Germany pledged its full support to Austria-Hungary pressuring them to declare war on Serbia while France strengthened its backing of Russia. Convinced that the Serbian government had conspired against them, Austria-Hungary issued Serbia an unacceptable ultimatum.

The British opium trade in China started the world’s very first drug war in the 19th century.At first the Chinese did not want to trade with the British but eventually the British found out what the Chinese would trade them for that was Opium. Opium is a preparation made from the juice of poppy seedpods and used to produce heroin.The Opium War took place mostly at sea where the British had steampowered gunboats which made a bigger advantage over the Chinese's out-dated boats. The result of this war was that British won this war.After the Opium War the Chinese signed a peace treaty in 1842 which was called The Treaty of Nanjing. This treaty gave Britian the Island of Hong Kong.

This poem was written because of Spanish-American war and the way the Americans took over the Philippines.This poem means that all the trouble that the Americans had to go through to protect the Philippines. They believed that everything they were doing was helping the people of the Philippines and that it was up to them to help them.We are living "The White Man's Burden" because we are trying to make other people act, by forcing them to take on our own government and way of life. The U.S. imperialism is still under going. In Iraq Bush believes that "we" are currently having a peace war.

The plan was to try and link together socialist leaders living in different parts of Europe. Influenced by Marx's ideas, socialists in England held a conference in London where they formed a new organisation called the Communist League. He thought that ht eggood gusy were workers and their bosses were bad guys.Marx believed that workers would control government, but communist governments were strict and dictatorial. Workers were often forced to work on huge collective farms and factory workers often had to fulfill quotas. In most Communist nations, the press was censored. They were not allowed to print news stories that criticized the government. People who spoke out against the Soviet government were treated harshly.

Simon Bolivar was one of South America's greatest leaders. Simon's parents died when he was young and he then inherit a fortune. Simon Bolivar had a excellent education, He lead several independant movements in throughout South America. Afterwards Simon Bolivar enter the group of patriots who seized Caracas in 1810 and proclaimed independence for Spain.When Simon returned to Venezula he then took control of the patriot army and recaptured Caracas in 1813 from the Spaniards. Bolivar was force to retreat from Venezula to New Granada (Columbia). Simon Bolivar took control of the command of the Colombian force and then got Bogota in 1814. In 1819 Simon went back and defeated the Spaniards. Simon organized an original republic of Colombia and became the first president. Bolivar defeated the Spanish army at Carabobo in Venezula on June 24, 1821 and added new territory in Educador.On August 6, 1825, Sucre called the Congress of Upper Peru which created the Republic of Bolivia in honor of Bolívar. The Bolivian Constitution of 1826 was personally written by Bolívar.
